Cooking Rendang
Rendang is food from Padang City West Sumatra Indonesia.
Many food media in the world named Rendang as the most delicious food in the world. Rendang is processed meat cooked with spices and coconut milk which is very thick, Rendang is very suitable to be served with warm rice and is suitable for side dishes for lunch or dinner, how to cook it as follows:
Material 1:
- 5 tablespoons of cooking oil
7 shallots, chopped
Material 2 (mashed):
- 5 cm galangal
- 5 cm ginger
- 12 garlic cloves
- 15 shallots
Material 3:
- 2 tablespoons of chili powder
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 turmeric leaf
- 7 orange leaves
- 3 sticks of lemongrass, bruised
- 3 white cardamom seeds
Material 4:
- 500 g of beef deep, cut in harmony
- 750 ml of thick coconut milk
- 1 pack of Cow Flavored Seasoning
- 1 tsp Pepper Powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
How to make :
1. Saute the shallots until yellow.
2. Then enter the mashed spices and ingredients 3 until fragrant and cooked.
3. Plant with 100 ml of coconut milk until the coconut milk recedes.
4. Add the meat, stir until the meat changes color.
5. Add the remaining coconut milk, add Cow Flavor Seasoning, Pepper Powder and salt. Stir gently until the coconut milk is etched and rolled.
6. If you want the color of old rendang meat, continue the stirring process until you get the desired color.
7. Turn off the heat, continue to stir until the heat in cooking continues to decrease.
8. Lift, serve warm.
